High strength hollow fiber PVDF with 0.03 μm pore size is used to make FUF modules. It provides excellent resistance to chemical cleaning. Ultrafiltration (UF) offers superior retention capabilities for germs, viruses, colloidal debris, suspended solids, and particles. Applications for PVDF modules include reverse osmosis pretreatment for desalination plants, petrochemical, drinking water, municipal water, and high purity water.
Procedure of Work  of UF Membrane 
The pressure differential on either side of the membrane serves as a driving force and the UF membrane functions as the filter medium in the UF membrane filtration process. Inside-out and outside-in UF membranes can be distinguished based on the inlet position and UF membrane construction.
