A concentrated liquid corrosion inhibitor based on nitrite and borate is called Fal-N7000. It can be used to hot water boilers and chilled water systems, where it scavenges the oxygen dissolved in the water that is causing corrosion. Fal-N7000 works well with most metals, including aluminum and copper. Due to its transparency, Fal-N7000 does not obstruct the iron determination test.
