UF Filter details
It is an asymmetric semi-permeable membrane manufactured by unique technology from a high molecular chemical material in our system. It is in the shape of a hollow capillary tube for hollow fibers, with a thick micro-pore covering the tube wall.
Under pressure, feed liquid flows in or out of the membrane, allowing dissolvent or small molecules to pass through and be collected as pure liquid, while large molecules (proteins, enzymes, nucleic acids, polysaccharides, and so on), colloid particles (such as emulsions, micro-ions, and bacteria), and bacteria are cut off by the membrane and carried away by the circulating liquid flow to become concentrating liquid. That is the technique for separation.

How Does an Ultrafiltration Filter Work?
The hydrostatic pressure in our system pushes through different membrane filtrations in ultrafiltration systems. Solvents flow through an extremely thin membrane, keeping large suspended particles and solids out while enabling water and smaller molecular weight solutes to pass through. In business and research, this separation method is used to purify and concentrate macromolecular (103-106 Da) solutions, which are generally protein solutions.
To achieve severe discharge criteria, ultrafiltration systems eliminate the need for clarifiers and other filtration equipment. Filters for a variety of media sources. Immiscible membranes are employed in successful ultrafiltration systems. Back-flushable and air-scoured. Spiral wound UF/MF membranes work very well for waste and process water clarity.

UF Filter Characteristics:

  1. Due of greater fiber strength and double-potting, extreme backwash conditions are achievable.
  2. The Solvay PVDF and TIPS membranes can withstand pH 1-13 and 5,000 ppm NaCIO, guaranteeing high flux recovery and a long service life.
  3. Isotropic microporous fibers effectively remove particles, colloids, germs, and viruses, safeguarding downstream equipment.
  4. Permeability is provided by unique permanent hydrophilic-modified fibers.
  5. VDF hollow fibers with an outside-in construction may handle a larger range of feed water quality.
Many ultrafiltration systems might benefit from the modest membrane area and compact design.
